A lot of hullabaloo about Pakistani players not included in the IPL. The Home Minister P. Chidambaram called it a disservice, Not to be left out, Shah Rukh Khan feels they should have been picked and Amitabh Bachchan called it unfair. Frankly I don’t understand the fuss.

Why don’t all these wise guys turn around and simply say that it was a commercial decision, though unfortunate? Is it because they don’t want any effect to overshadow their films overseas (Gulf-Pak)?
Frankly, I kept off expressing my opinion, but now that everyone has got one, here is it:
The north Indians have an unhealthy obsession with Pakistanis and it is a love-hate relationship. They simply cannot forget about Pakistanis and go about their job. Otherwise see all this thing about ‘Aman ki Asha’ - a Times of India initiative, and other bullcrap things they keep doing – including trade.
What the heck have those bloody Pakistanis got that they can sell to us cheaply? Nothing. And we keep selling them things cheap so that those basterds can contribute more money to those LeT, JeM terrorists to send against us.
What a cockeyed policy!
AFAIC, If any Pakistani crosses the border. shoot them!
And If they cross the border with a visa, (a la Headley) shoot them twice!!

Update 03 Feb 2010 : Shah Rukh Khan stands by his comments and Afridi the ball tampering cheat is caught and fined.
What a bunch of jokers – both can’t keep their mouth shut.

But one has to admit – Shah Rukh Khan has balls; but then Afridi has been caught biting balls (to be precise, one cricket ball). Oops!
