Win candy at Google Birthday Pinata Doodle

Google is celebrating its 15th birthday today with a piñata motif interactive doodle appearing on its home page.  Users hit a swinging piñata with a stick using the space bar to release candies and earn points.

Google was founded in 1998 by Larry Page and Sergey Brin, who were students of Stanford University.  Although the company was founded a few weeks earlier, September 27 is celebrated as its birthday.

The search engine giant has put up a playful doodle depicting a pinata.  The letters of Google logo are depicted as guests of the birthday party except the 2nd smaller 'g', who takes its turn at the pinata.  The blindfolded ‘g’ hits the swinging pinata with a stick, when we press the spacebar.

We have 10 swings at the pinata to win candies and earn points.  At the end of 10 swings, 3 buttons appear to enable us to share the score on G+, do a Search or Replay.

Take a few minutes, enjoy the game or at least the video.
