Google Doodle for Bram Stoker’s Dracula is bland and non-interactive

Today, Google celebrates the 165th birth anniversary of Abraham “Bram” Stoker, best known for his 1897 novel Dracula.

For a guy worth a Google Doodle themed on Dracula, and for a guy who created ‘the’ master horror villain, Bram Stoker, wasn’t a literary genius.  In fact Bram Stoker was better known as a personal assistant to an actor and Theatre owner, one Henry Irving.

Perhaps reflecting it, the Google Doodle is also a drab thing - in Black and White with Google written in blood red.  Hope that is not a prophesy or sign of what is to come in future.

BTW, did you know that there are, by my count, about 32 Dracula (or Vampire) themed movies till now?  The list is after the Bram Stoker ‘Dracula’ Google Doodle.
