Firefox 16.0 released, withdrawn by Mozilla due privacy problems

This is a blogger's most serious nightmare - you recommend an upgrade and within a few hours you re-recommend a ‘downgrade’.  Fortunately, something, whatever it was, (primarily lack of time), prevented me from going to town about the newest release of Mozilla Firefox 16.0, which was released on 09th October (10th October for India).

Today, barely 48 hours later, Mozilla has withdrawn or pulled the latest version of its browser - Firefox 16.0.

The reason?  Firefox 16.0. lays bare all your browsing history to a hacking website [https://blog.mozilla.org/security/2012/10/10/security-vulnerability-in-firefox-16/].

So, if you have already upgraded to Firefox 16.0., please downgrade to Firefox 15.0.1.  Mozilla have reverted to the older version of Firefox instead of Firefox 16.0. in their download page.
