A street dog doesn’t mess in its own backyard

For the last few days that is what has been in my thoughts.  Every Indian and perhaps other 3rd world citizen would understand the concept ‘a street dog', a stray, does not mess in its own backyard, but instead goes out and messes up the next street.

Of late, when people who have been talking about the Union, Central Government of India interfering in what are essentially State subjects, they have also made endorsements on what are essentially Union or Central subjects.

For the life of this blog, essentially from 2009, I have been keeping clear of state matters of TN.  The reason was that if ever Google reveals my original ID, I might be subject to physical violence.

With the change in the Government in the state of Tamil Nadu, I have no fear as to that - the physical violence, that is.  But what people who are concerned about me have warned me is that I might be subject to other forms of violence.

Ordinarily I would not be worried about it, because I have carefully kept off the state subjects and specifically which are of concern to my home state, Tamil Nadu.  But now with the state of TN, while forcefully protesting against the Central administration allegedly interfering in what are essentially state subjects, is also, in my humble opinion, expressing its position on essentially Central subjects, like Foreign Policy, I am worried.

Thus for the last few days, I am seriously thinking about whether to continue with the monkeyshine nutworks or else to submit like the multitude and close up the blog.

If I submit and shut down this blog, I would give in to the dictatorial, fascist thinking.  OTOH, if I persist, without any political backing (or even widespread public backing), I would be one another casualty of the political battles.

As of now, my instinct is to go for it - fight till the last whiff of life and never give up.  But without support, is it worth it?

Is blabbering my thoughts, however correct, insightful and with foresight worth if no one is listening?

What is the use?
