Comodo Internet Security 5.10 has been released

What would you say if I told you that the best Internet Security Suite as independently tested on 17th February 2012 is *not* one of those highly promoted, pricey, fancy names?  What if the best Security Suite as on date is actually a *Free* product?  Would you think that I’m talking through my hat or would you curse yourself for having forked out dozens of dollars (or euros) for one of those ‘not-so-good’ products?

Let me assure you that my head is screwed on the right way and the February independent tests by Matousec rates Comodo Internet Security (version 5.9) as the best ever, with 94% product score.  Of the 15 other products, none even come close.  Only Jetico Personal Firewall and Private Firewall (free) cross the 55% product score.

Today, Comodo have gone one better.  They have released Comodo Internet Security 5.10.228257.2253 and it is sure to top the charts and do even better next time around.

BTW, Matousec has designed a new set of tests based on Windows 7 64 bit edition.  You can read on why they have done so and how this test can be a better yardstick than testing on 32 bit systems here [http://www.matousec.com/info/?news=154-Security_Software_Testing_Suite_64].
