Spare the anarchists and spoil the Republic

For reasons that are not connected with politics (which obviously is Sports and for an Indian sports means only one thing - Cricket), this post is going to be short.

The Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has tweeted an obvious point and which should be looked at but since India is taking on England in the only Twenty20 cricket match of the series, it is not going to be explored now.

India might have lost the test series and the number one spot in Tests, but I (and almost all the cricket fans I’ve spoken to in the last few days, from 8 to 18 to 48 years old), think that India is formidable in the shorter versions of the game.

Speaking of other world events, there are a half a dozen posts which are swirling in my mind and provided I am not tired after prayers to the Elephant God tomorrow, I intent to explore them in full - watch out everyone - if I can do it, it is going to be a blog-(an)archy tomorrow.

BTP, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah announced a pardon to the stone-pelters on Sunday, 28th August.  Ironically, it was one day after some 300 persons on bikes stone-pelted a police station right in the capital of the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

Does that require any more to be said?  I doubt it.  A photo is worth a 1000 words while a cartoon is worth just as much to clear up a fuzzy situation and for this post nothing makes it clearer than this comic by Andy Singer.
