At first, I took it to be a joke. Rather, I thought the April Fools Day had come a month early, reading that land locked Wyoming, the Equality State, wants to buy itself an Aircraft Carrier [http://www.forbes.com/sites/kevinunderhill/2012/02/28/wyoming-to-consider-buying-an-aircraft-carrier/].
Of all the raving lunatics, a good bunch of them must have been elected to the Wyoming legislature.
What next? A nuclear bomb? Hey A.Q. Khan and Khan network, are you listening?
Thankfully, the madness seemed to have lasted only a couple of weeks. Whew! Though the crazies have been defeated by the narrowest of margins 27-30, with 3 abstaining. Wonder what would have happened if those 3 had not been excused from voting.

Perhaps SecDef Leon Panetta might consider renaming CVN 78 as 'State of Wyoming' instead of the chosen 'Gerald R. Ford'. Such lunacy should not go unrewarded.
