Going for ‘Gold’ in the New Year

People all over the World celebrate today, welcoming a brand New Year, a dozen and two millennium, in the Common Era.

While much is written about the year that was past and much is written and predicted about the coming year, this is the day for everyone of us to sit down, reflect on our deeds during the last 52 weeks and learn or benefit from the act or inability to act in the last year.

Thus when we, everyone of us, sit and think back, I am sure we will realise that we had some precious golden opportunity to aim for Gold and win it, if we had just acted at the right moment.

For everyone of us who did not act, go and get the Gold, let the past year be a lesson!
For everyone of us who step onto the New Year, it is time to go and get the Gold!
Best Wishes for a more prosperous, healthy and joyful Year ahead.

My Naughty half natters, ‘Gold in Sanskrit means Hema.  So should we all go for Hema?’

To which my Serious half snaps, ‘Like it or not, I am going to try for Hema - Gold - so precious, during this brand new year!’

  1. We should always go for the gold every year and every chance we get! All gold buyers I know would agree. Good luck to you and all your readers this year.
