Conspiracy theory versus conscious thought

While the remade tagline ‘now, why didn’t you think of it’ may or may not be a catchy one which will empower this blog into heights unknown, I’ve been repeatedly questioned, face to face, on whether I think myself a better thinker than others (meaning the questioner).

For the record, I don’t think that I think better than anyone else, including my Tendulkar-worshipping-10-year-old-nephew.  But the reasons that my conclusions are different from his or others including the questioners is because, chiefly, of 3 inclusive:
  1. I complete the thought process and do not abandon the process when it appears that the process can give me the result I want
  2. I look for a win-win situation - where both sides of the point in question can get away safely, without damaging each other (a compromise)
  3. And I always put myself in both the players situation (in their shoes) to try and see it from their view point and understand the consequences (go back to point 1)
:-)
Thus it was stunning to hear a drunk at the supermarket today evening, just after seven, ranting about conspiracy and co-involvement in the political scene today.
  • To go by his rant, the ‘endower of art’ has still not bothered to appear before the authorities because a compromise has been reached with powers to be.
  • Similarly, even though a move is on to seize some assets by Central authorities to satisfy the Supreme Court, the investigations everywhere are just an eye wash - nothing tangible will happen in future.  As the drunk put it, why isn’t at least the bank accounts of the accused ‘frozen’?
As stated before, I do not ascribe to conspiracy theories in general but I was confused after hearing the rants of the drunkard.  As I walked back bearing the fresh vegetables, passing in front of a street side temple there was a flash of the goddess and a smiling one at that.

Say what you want, but inspiration, is as good as ‘Gold’, and which is literally is my goddess (in case you’ve taken me for a religious zealot who has visions), does provoke thinking and acts as a guardian against far fetched theories.

Thus was this post initiated by the ‘Golden’ inspiration.

  1. Well, it's always refreshing to hear the views of yet another egoistic blogger so caught up in himself that he fails to consider the notion that he is not always the perfect voice of reason.

    Wait, no its not.

The only redeeming quality that I can say that this blog has, is that it is not plagiarized.
Given the fact that there is some original material here, I'd say this is one of the better blogs I've seen of late.

Keep up the good work but try to tone down the arrogance a bit, it doesn't go down well with readers.

  2. dragon - arrogantly putting forth a view 'is' the point of this blog.

    (isn't it of any blog?)

or even that of comments? - for eg. yours. isn't patronizing as bad as arrogance? or is it not?
